Collision repair

Collision repair in Kendall, from fender benders to write-offs.

Front, rear or side damage, a deployed airbag, a bent frame. We look at the car, write the estimate, work with your insurer and put it back the way it was before the accident.

Cars we see every week

  • Rear-ended at a light, bumper and trunk pushed in
  • Front-end hits with a deployed airbag
  • Side damage across doors and quarter panels
  • A curb, a parking stop or a pole that won the argument
  • Cars an insurer called a total loss that the owner wants to keep

How a collision job goes

  1. Look and estimate

Bring the car in, or send photos first. We write down everything we can see and explain it.

  2. Insurance

If there is a claim, the adjuster inspects the car here. Damage found once parts come off goes back to the insurer as a supplement.

  3. Structure first

Frame and unibody are straightened before any panel work, so doors, hood and trunk line up again.

  4. Panels, paint, finish

Panels repaired or replaced, then primed, painted, colour-blended and polished.

  5. Pick-up

We go over the car with you before you drive away.

What will it cost?

It depends on what is damaged behind the bumper, not only what you can see. We write the estimate after looking at the car; if insurance is paying, you usually only pay your deductible.

FAQ

Questions people ask the shop

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk-ins are welcome Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Calling first means Alberto can set time aside for your car.

My insurer says the car is a total loss. Can you still fix it?

Sometimes. It depends on the damage and on the value of the car. We look at it and tell you honestly whether a repair makes sense.

Do you straighten frames?

Yes. Frame and unibody damage is straightened before any panel or paint work, so the car sits and closes the way it should.

How long will my car be in the shop?

It depends on parts and on how quickly the insurer approves the estimate. We give you a time when we write it up and call you if anything changes.
